Our kitchens

Vila Joya’s kitchen team is an international and collaborative crew responsible for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at our two-Michelin-star restaurant, as well as poolside dining and our beach shack.

With chefs from diverse culinary backgrounds and all levels of experience, this dynamic environment offers endless opportunities to develop your craft. Under the guidance of several senior chefs, each with their own areas of expertise, you’ll refine your skills in fine dining, casual fare, and pastry arts, contributing to our renowned gastronomic excellence.

Led by Chef Dieter Koschina, and head Chef Stefan Langmann, our two-Michelin-star restaurant delivers an exclusive experience with a daily evolving menu. Catering to 20 guests for lunch and 30 for dinner, we invite both house and outside guests to indulge in the highest standards of culinary artistry.

Vila Joya’s signature restaurant has proudly held two Michelin stars for 25 years, making it the first in Portugal to achieve this prestigious honor. Each night, we invite up to 30 discerning guests to indulge in a meticulously crafted multi-course culinary adventure that celebrates artistry and innovation, with the option of al fresco dining overlooking the property and stunning blue water views.

For a more casual yet equally sophisticated ambiance, Vila Joya Sea features a menu inspired by Japanese and Latin cuisines, accommodating just 25 guests per service. This intimate setting, with views of the ocean, offers a relaxed yet elegant dining atmosphere.
